Delivered by Tony Tucker ( a Trustee of the Friends of the City Churches and City of London Blue Badge Guide ) the day will be split into three one hour segments covering all aspects of City of London Churches re-built following the Great Fire of London 1666. Tony will detail the history of the re-building project of 51 churches, primarily by the architect Christopher Wren and his office. In addition he will be explaining designs of individual churches, exterior and interior as well as their distinctive towers and spires. Also he will explain some of the superb woodwork  that exist from this time as well as other embellishments. A day not to be missed covering some of the most important architecturally heritage buildings in the land.
