Description

Your new DIY adventure will make much better progress if you really know how to choose and use the right tools for the job. Do know how to adjust and sharpen them and use them properly. Do you know how to improve a screwdriver or how many drill bits it takes to put a screw in without splitting the wood? Does you furniture have wobbly legs , sticking draws, loose handles and missing pieces?

By understanding a little about how furniture is made, you can give it a new lease of life using the right tools. Bring along your own furniture and tools to try out your new knowledge. Your tutor, Michael Goater, is an experienced restorer and lecturer and is an accredited member and former chairman of the British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association.

Tea and Coffee will be provided on arrival. Bring your own picnic lunch.
