Date & Time
Sunday 13 February 2022
£50.00 per person.
This Study day is held in the Mansion in the Ground Floor South Room. Suitable for wheelchair access. Wheelchair users wishing to attend however should contact Alan Cox or Michael Goater, to allow the organisers to make appropriate arrangements and to check about any changes to the event location.
Due to the popularity of the First of these workshop series, we are now continuing with the theme of restoring the finish of your furniture, but also looking at using the right tools for the job and putting this new knowledge into action... curing wobbly legs sticking draws and missing pieces.
By understanding a little about how furniture is made, you can give it a new lease of life using the right tools. Bring along your own furniture and tools to try out your new knowledge. Your tutor, Michael Goater, is an experienced restorer and lecturer and is an accredited member and former chairman of the British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association.
Tea and Coffee will be provided on arrival. Bring your own picnic lunch.
Please contact Michael Goater on 01 580 212 234 or Alan Cox on 07799 473108
