Everyone wants to marry Bianca. No-one wants to marry her sister Kate, the unruly and sharp-tongued shrew. So their father announces that Bianca can’t get married until he finds a husband for Kate. The situation seems hopeless. But then the boastful Petruchio blows into town to find himself a wealthy wife and is persuaded that Kate would fit the bill. In the scramble to woo the two sisters, sparks will fly and deceit, disguise and mistaken identities abound.
But is Bianca really such a catch? Is Kate really such a shrew? And can she really be tamed? Find out in Shakespeare's fast, farcical and provocative comedy.
