Cost
£10.00 per person when tickets are bought “In Advance” via Ticketsource.
£12.00 per person for tickets bought on the day, on the door.
Friends of Copped Hall and Children Under 16 – Free. Tickets are required for entry. Please bring your membership card with you.
Location
Mansion – Cellars, Stables, Ground and First Floor. Gardens – inc Site of Earlier Houses and Walled Garden.
Access to Cellars and 1st Floor of the Mansion is currently via staircase only. Gardens are undulating/uneven lawn surfaces with some paths on a sloping site. The Walled Garden is also on a sloping site. Very limited access currently for wheelchair users.
Description
A variety of tours are available, including; The Servants areas of the Mansion (Cellars and Ground Floors), Family areas of the Mansion (Ground and First Floors) and the Garden areas (Lawns, sites of earlier houses and Walled Garden). Additional Guided Tours are under development. Visitors are free to choose which and how many they wish to do, all are accompanied by an experienced Guide. Tours will leave at 15min intervals, with a maximum group of 15 visitors per tour, each lasting about an hour. Light lunches and refreshments are available until about 2pm. There is also our shop selling books about Copped Hall and a range of other items. In addition, there are exhibitions on site and our very popular second-hand book shop. We also sell plants, seasonal fruit and vegetables from the Walled Garden.
