Description

Close-up and macro are increasingly popular branches of photography often revealing detail invisible to the naked eye.  However, they pose several technical challenges and overcoming them forms the subject matter of this course.  It is designed for a group limited to 10 participants so that individual tuition during the practical sessions can realistically be assured.  Peter will give an introductory talk for about an hour after which the group will break to work stations set up in the house and select from a variety of “models” to put theory into practice. Models will include flowers from the Copped Hall gardens, carnivorous plants supplied by Peter, locusts and fungi.  There will be a variety of accessories available to complement images. after which, weather willing, the group will move to the gardens to try its hand at photographing flowers and insects.
