In the last newsletter we reported on the efforts of two gentlemen - Clive Alexander and Bernard High - who produced a very comprehensive display of all the heraldry associated with Copped Hall. We were very grateful to them. A few months ago they invited me to see a cabinet they had made. I duly visited and saw the most expertly constructed cabinet in Clive’s rather superior garden shed. I was most impressed and touched that they had gone to all this trouble on behalf of Copped Hall’s history.
Later, they came and presented the cabinet to Copped Hall. We have yet to find the best location for the cabinet but nevertheless I saw it being minutely studied by visitors on the last Open Day. We remain indebted to Clive and Bernard for this gift.
