CHILDREN'S GARDENING DAY

Cost

£8.00 per Child for children aged 7 to 12 years, who MUST be accompanied by ONE Adult . The accompanying Adult is FREE.

Location

Gardens. The Gardens are undulating/uneven lawn surfaces with some paths, all on a sloping site. The Walled Garden is also on a sloping site. Both are currently very difficult access for wheelchair users. If you have any doubts as to the suitability of this workshop, please contact the Box Office.

Description

Would you like to create a lovely garden? This is a special day for children that will help them to do just that.  Come along and have fun learning about gardening. Children  will be sowing seeds and learning to pot up a plant to take home. They will also learn to identify wildlife and insects as well as pests. All tools and seeds will be provided. Children should wear sensible shoes and clothing appropriate to gardening. Spaces are limited to 20 children only… so book early!
The workshop will start at 9.30am and finish at 1.30pm.
