Join us for this Study Day where we will be let into the mysterious world of the blacksmith. Led by professional blacksmiths Steve Miller and Peter Trick, this day will begin with a lecture on the history of the craft and its origins. After lunch we will visit the Walled Garden gates, which were meticulously restored by Steve and Peter. We will learn about the process of restoring the gates and attendees are encouraged to bring along their own blacksmithing questions!

Attendees should bring their own lunch. We will provide tea/coffee at arrival and in the afternoon.
