Copped Hall is proud of the quality and variety of courses and study days it can offer to students whether primary or secondary.
We currently cover:
- Medieval, Tudor and Georgian History focussing on both political and social themes.
Creative Writing, using the Georgian House it’s owners and the people who served them as a stimulus.
- We have a thriving Archaeology section which can introduce this fascinating subject to students of all ages.
- Our Habitats and Plants study days are led by an experienced horticulturist who has also worked at London Zoo.
- Our Art Days link the works of Francis Hayman (who painted a landscape of Copped Hall) and Thomas Gainsborough to enable students to produce a landscape of their own
- All our teachers are retired Primary or Secondary teachers. All our assistants are DBS checked.
