Do you enjoy the TV programmes that show how furniture is looked after and restored, would like to try it but do not have the basic skills, even to remove a scratch? Then this is the workshop for you; just one of a new series of skills workshops.
After many years of use, surviving parties, sunlight, coffee cups, wine glasses, children or the dog, how does your furniture look? This course shows you how to restore the finish. Bring your own furniture to work on if you can. Your tutor, Michael Goater, is an experienced restorer and lecturer and is an accredited member and former chairman of the British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association.
