The numerous flower beds currently at Copped Hall are the result of over 20 years of devoted restoration by our volunteers. As well as the beautiful flower beds that adorn the walled garden and those around the gardens as a whole, there is the beautiful Long Border that runs down the outside of the Walled Garden on its Southern side. This wide herbaceous bed is over 450 feet (approximately 137 metres) long and is a wonderful sight throughout the year but especially in the summer months. Restored from complete dereliction, it is a wonderful example of what determined volunteers can achieve and highlights the spirit of the Copped Hall volunteer project overall. The Copped Hall gardens are not to be missed.
