All of our events are now ticketed and may have specific entry times. However you may be able to attend last minute and buy a ticket at the entrance for a very limited number of events. These include Guided Tour Days, Garden Afternoons, Open Days and Apple Day. Please Note: TICKETS BOUGHT ONLINE ARE CHEAPER THAN TICKETS BOUGHT ON THE DAY AT THE ENTRY POINT. ONLINE TICKET SALES CLOSE AT 10.00PM NIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT. Please see the "More Info" page or contact the Box Office to check if this is possible for the event you may like to attend. Tickets should be obtained via Ticketsource. Please contact our Box Office if you are having difficulties. If the event is cancelled and you have purchased a ticket, we will notify you and give a full refund (less what Ticketsource require as their admin charge). Copped Hall and its gardens are STRICTLY PRIVATE and are open only for advertised events.
The only access to Copped Hall is via the white 18th century gates on Crown Hill (Upshire Road). The gates are the first turning on the right, when approaching from Epping, on the B1393 and they will be staffed when Copped Hall is open. The lodges are privately owned and it is essential not to disturb the lodge owners for access.

The continuing restoration of the Georgian Mansion is to its 1758 condition. The site also consists of some 20 acres of undulating gardens and four acres of sloping walled garden. They have been rescued by the Trust from complete dereliction, because of this, both the Mansion and the Gardens provide a challenge to provide universal access to all.
As a result, at this time, a number of areas in the Mansion and Gardens are not suitable for those with severe disabilities. It is therefore strongly recommended that visitors that are in any doubt as the suitability of an event, particularly with regard to the location of a ticketed event, should contact the Trust or Copped Hall Box Office.”
